1. Sponsor
The CharterUP K-12 Teacher Recognition Campaign (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored by CharterUP, LLC ("Sponsor"), with principal offices located in the United States.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or any other platform or organization.
2. Eligibility
The Sweepstakes is open only to:
- Legal residents of the United States
- Who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of entry
Employees of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
Void where prohibited by law.
3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 AM CST on August 25, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM CST on September 20, 2026 ("Sweepstakes Period").
Entries submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible.
4. How to Enter
During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible participants may enter by:
- Following CharterUP on Instagram
- Completing the official entry form available via the link in CharterUP's Instagram bio: CharterUP.com/Live
- Nominating themselves or their teacher and sharing a story about how they took learning beyond the classroom
- Tagging family, friends, teachers in the designated Sweepstakes post
Liking the post is encouraged but not required for entry eligibility.
Limit one (1) entry per person/email address during the Sweepstakes Period. Duplicate, automated, or fraudulent entries may be disqualified at Sponsor's sole discretion.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
5. Prize Structure
Prizes will be awarded in one (1) phase during the Sweepstakes Period.
Phase 1 Prizes
On or about September 22nd, 2026, Sponsor will select five (5) winners.
Four (4) runner-up winners will each receive:
- $1,000 USD of school supplies
- $1,000 USD trip budget from CharterUP
One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive:
- $2,000 USD of school supplies
- $2,000 USD trip budget from CharterUP
Specific transportation vehicle type and routing are determined solely by Sponsor.
If transportation service is unavailable in the winner's geographic area or operational limitations prevent fulfillment, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the transportation portion with a cash equivalent or alternate transportation arrangement.
All prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash except at Sponsor's sole discretion.
Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize acceptance and use.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
Winners will be selected in random drawings conducted by Sponsor on or about the dates listed above from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
Winners will be notified using the contact information provided during entry submission or via direct message on the applicable social media platform.
If a selected winner:
- Cannot be contacted
- Fails to respond within five (5) days
- Is determined to be ineligible
- Fails to complete required documentation
Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
Winners may be required to sign:
- An Affidavit of Eligibility
- A Liability Release
- A Publicity Release (where permitted by law)
7. Publicity
By entering, participants grant Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, city/state, social media handle, submitted content, and any related photos or statements for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes in any media worldwide without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
By submitting your entry, you consent to receive marketing and promotional emails from CharterUP LLC. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how your information is handled.
8. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be:
- Tampering with the entry process
- Violating these Official Rules
- Acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner
Sponsor is not responsible for:
- Lost, late, incomplete, invalid, or misdirected entries
- Technical malfunctions or failures of any kind
- Interrupted or unavailable network, server, or platform connections
- Any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize
9. Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, claims, damages, or causes of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize.
10. Governing Law
The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Winner List
A winner list may be made available upon request where required by applicable law. Sponsor reserves the right to provide winner information in a manner consistent with applicable privacy laws and promotional regulations.
