The winner of CharterUP’s inaugural “Driving Greatness” contest. Coach Green serves as a College Career Counselor and Football Coach at MESA Charter High School in Brooklyn, NY. After hundreds of submissions and thousands of public votes, the MESA High School community rallied behind their leader, securing $10,000 for Coach Green and another $10,000 in CharterUP travel credits for his team.

Coaches do more than call plays — they build confidence, character, and community. CharterUP would like to honor the coaches who are empowering and driving their teams to greatness.

We invited teams, players, and athletic programs to nominate high school football coaches who go above and beyond. The winning coach will receive $10,000, and their team will be awarded $10,000 in CharterUP credit to be used on transportation.

Official Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

1. Eligibility

The Driving Greatness Contest ("Contest") is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Nominators must be individuals (not businesses or organizations). Nominees must be current high school football coaches actively involved in high school athletic programs within the United States. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor (defined below), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective household members) are not eligible to participate or win.

2. Sponsor

This Contest is sponsored by CharterUP, LLC ("Sponsor"). The Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

3. Contest Period

The Contest begins on October 13, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. Central Time (CT) and ends on November 14, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CT ("Contest Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible. Entries received outside of this period will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter

During the Contest Period, visit charterup.com/driving-greatness and complete the official nomination form, including: Your contact information; The nominated coach's information; A written description explaining why the coach demonstrates exceptional leadership and community impact. Optional: Upload a photo or video showcasing the coach's leadership. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win.

5. Entry Requirements

All submissions must: Be original and created by the entrant; Not contain any offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content; Not infringe upon any third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights). Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or noncompliant with these rules.

6. Judging Criteria

All eligible entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges selected by the Sponsor. The winner will be chosen based on the following criteria: Demonstrated leadership and positive influence (40%); Community impact (40%); Quality and clarity of nomination story (20%). The winner will be selected on or about November 14, 2025.

7. Prize

One (1) winning coach will receive: $10,000 awarded directly to the coach, which will be paid out in 2026; and $10,000 in CharterUP credit awarded to the coach’s team or school program. The credit must be used for team transportation, may not be applied to a single trip in full, and will be valid through December 31, 2026. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $20,000 total.

8. Taxes

Prize recipients are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of the prize not specified herein. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 to the winner for the total prize value. Winners may be required to provide a valid taxpayer identification number (TIN) or Social Security Number (SSN) as a condition of prize award.

9. Winner Notification

The potential winner will be notified by email and/or phone on or around November 14, 2025. The winner must respond within five (5) business days of notification. Failure to respond within the designated timeframe or failure to meet eligibility requirements may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Sponsor may require the completion and return of an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release, and IRS Form W-9 prior to awarding the prize.

10. Publicity Release

By entering, participants grant Sponsor the non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use their name, likeness, nomination story, photograph, and city/state of residence for advertising, promotional, and other purposes in any and all media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

11. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Contest. In such an event, Sponsor may select a winner from among the eligible entries received prior to the cancellation. Sponsor's decisions are final and binding in all respects.

12. Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless CharterUP, LLC, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.

13. Disputes

Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia. All issues concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

14. Privacy

Personal information collected from entrants will be used in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at https://www.charterup.com/privacy-policy.
